Polar Light Technologies

Polar Light Technologies is a Swedish startup based in Linköping, born from the pioneering research of Prof. Per-Olof Holtz at Linköping University. The company develops advanced microLED technology based on a patented pyramidal “bottom-up” architecture that enables monolithic integration of red, green, and blue emissions within the same material, without etching. This results in ultra-small, highly energy-efficient, and bright displays that form the foundation for the next generation of AR smart glasses, head-up displays, and head-mounted displays.
