HonTech, which is the exclusive dealer of Sunnen hening machines, tools and consumables in Sweden, will now become a subsidiary of Euro Maskin AB.
Hontech’s former owners and founders, Andreas Isaksson and Urban Bohlin, say: “We are very pleased to be able to hand over HonTech to a long-term and stable owner. We now look forward to gradually transferring our knowledge and good business relationships to a younger generation of talented employees.”
Euro Maskin has been owned by J2L Holding AB since 2014, which also includes the machine dealer Stenbergs and its subsidiaries. “Over the past decade, Euro Maskin has strengthened its position in the Swedish market with a clear focus on industrial cleaning, water treatment and surface finishing.
Through the acquisition of HonTech, we complement the group’s offering with world-leading products in honing and lapping, which feels really good,’ says Jonas Wihlborg, head of the Stenbergs Group. HonTech will continue to be run as an independent company in close co-operation with Euro Maskin and Stenbergs.
